Richard Allen Sweaney, age 62, of Murrieta, California passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Richard was born in CA.

A memorial service for Richard will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.

I received some sad news yesterday about a great friend from our speedway family, Rich Sweaney passed away last week. He was a great guy and will be missed.

I was sorry to read Robert Mendoza's post that Rich Sweaney has passed away.
Shown here at Bakersfield in November of 1984, Rich was a good rider and a truly nice guy.
